BODY IS A TOOL

Your body is the realest tool you have in this life. Everything you do—your work, your relationships, your happiness—it all starts with how you treat your body. The OG, Deion Sanders nailed it with, “Look good, feel good, play good.” The same goes for your body: when you take care of it, you’re unstoppable and can change the world.

Last couple of weeks were wild. I got married and spent some time at an all-inclusive resort. Don’t get me wrong—it was an absolute blast, one of the best times of my life. But let’s be real, I threw a lot my routine out the window. I ate like a teenager with a new driver’s license and free rein at a drive-thru, skipped workouts, and pretty much treated sleep like it was optional. And you know what? I hella felt it. My body wasn’t optimal, and that spilled over into my mind and spirit. When my body doesn’t feel good, everything else goes off the rails too. Physical, mental, spiritual—they’re all connected.

I get it, you can’t always be on point. Life is meant to be enjoyed, and I wouldn’t trade my wedding week for anything. But man, I missed feeling confident in my own skin. I missed waking up energized, not sluggish. Slow. Reactionary. Bloated. Lacking confidence. Can be a tough place to be.

Coming back, you have to rely on your structure, routines and discipline. I wanted to get back and go 1000%, but I’ve learned cannot overdue it and got to trust the process. Slow and simple, get back into life.

Remember, “Look good, feel good, play good.”

Practicality: Hit a 10 minute morning sunlight walk no phone.

1. Walking Fact: A morning walk can improve cardiovascular health by getting your heart rate up and increasing blood circulation, which helps reduce the risk of heart disease.

2. Sunlight Fact: Exposure to morning sunlight helps regulate your circadian rhythm, leading to better sleep and increased energy levels throughout the day.

3. No Phone Fact: Leaving your phone behind during your walk reduces stress and allows your mind to focus, promoting mental clarity and overall well-being.

I promise, a little 10 minute no phone, morning sunlight walk will benefit your health. In addition, this will trick your brain to prioritizing yourself. AND THINK ON THE WALK. A win-win-win.

One love, do something for yourself and someone else today.
